About Pamviles
Artist Pam (short for Pamviles) discovered art at 18 during a period of mental difficulty, and art has been a central part of his life ever since. He has held 8 solo exhibitions and taken part in many group shows across Chinese cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chengdu and Dongguan, as well as internationally in Finland, Serbia and Turkey. He has also published a book featuring his personal stories, paintings, poetry and philosophy.
His artworks focus on themes of life, mathematics, philosophy and society. At 20, he created the Apm Theorem, which has become an important part of his artistic practice. With a mathematics educational background, he integrates self-designed coded systems into his creations. These codes hide hidden narratives and symbolic meanings, like maps that hold untold stories. After more than two years of exploration, he wrote the Codism Manifesto in 2019 to present his original artistic theory.
In addition to visual art, Pam creates short films, vlogs and interview content. He shares his artistic ideas, personal life, cross-cultural experiences and experimental film projects through his channels, focusing on genuine storytelling and creative expression.
Pam sells original artworks and prints, and provides a full range of professional creative services: exhibition curation, code-maze portraits, tattoo designs, sculpture design and other custom art projects.
